Joining the 11 Club

There’s this 11 Things – thing going around in the blogging world and I’ve been tagged a few times and just didn’t really have time for it. (sorry!!) But I had some time this morning and in true “New Momma Bird” fashion, I’m filling you in on some stuff about ME!

1. Where is your dream vacation?

Well, since I’ve already gone to Hawaii (twice – i know, hate me now). And I’ve already been through Europe – I guess I would have to say Australia, Fiji, or any other Caribbean Island! I would love it if we went when the kids were a bit older so we can really just enjoy one another & relish in family time!

2. If you could have lunch with anyone from any time in history, who would it be and why.

Anyone in history?! Wow. I think any of the apostles would be amazing. To just sit and listen to their wisdom and see what it was like to follow, literally, in the footsteps of Jesus.

3. If you were going to spend one year in outer space, and you could take one thing from home with you, what would it be?

Okay, if I was being practical – toilet paper.
If I was being sentimental – a picture of my family.
If I was being wise – my Bible

4. Do you like roller coasters?

You know I love them. But for some reason the older I get the harder they are on my body! Man, the last time I went on one, I swore I was going to have whiplash! lol

5. Do you make a Christmas wish list (for yourself) each year?

Nope. And I get mad every year too because I forget something that I said I wanted. I usually remember AFTER Christmas.

6. The one song that always gets stuck in your head is…

ABC’s – just the typical life of a mother

7. What color is your toothbrush?

Right now it’s teal. It’s usually teal or pink.

8. What is your favorite movie?

Umm hello – just the best movie of all time – Top Gun!!!! And we can’t forget Dirty Dancing either

9. What is the one beauty tip you know you should do, but you don’t?

Washing my face every night. I do it most of the time, but sometimes I’m too lazy to do it.

10. Would you rather forget your mom’s birthday or Mother’s Day?

I would say my Mother’s Day. Mother’s Day is great – and I believe it’s a great day to celebrate Motherhood, but the birth of someone is one of the most amazing things EVER!

11. What kind of car do you drive?

I have a Toyota Highlander Maroon – we got it just a month before I found out I was pregnant with our Cohen.

{ wow, i’m tan with no bags under my eyes! This was just weeks before finding out I’d get knocked up on this trip! }
