Last Night

It’s my last night in Ohio.

Bittersweet is the word that comes to mind.

I can’t even begin to express how nice it was to relax in the home that I lived in for 4 years before getting married and re-joining the military life-style I was so accustomed to growing up as a child. My sister was able to be here the whole time I was here. (thanks Michael!) She and I are both pregnant and her boy is just 6 weeks younger than Lucas. Having all these little boys in the house was nice but quite crazy most days – mostly because of my wild things….you know you’ve read the stories about my boys.

Tonight I went out to dinner with the kiddos and my parents and then enjoyed some ice cream with both my parents and my in-laws. I am so very blessed to have 2 sets of amazing parents. The ones who raised me & the ones who have adopted me through the marriage of their son. It’s hard to find great in-laws, shoot let alone have great parents, so I find myself quite lucky.

Tomorrow morning I’ll head to the airport with the kiddos and mother-in-law to spend 1.5 days in Florida. (I didn’t want to have a layover heading to the UK – that would just be suicide with a 3 yr old, almost 2 yr old and being about 17 wks pregnant.) SO – I’m going to enjoy 1.5 days in the sun before heading to my hubster.

I’ll probably end up crying like a baby when I leave my mother-in-law on Thursday evening – or maybe it won’t sink it and I’ll just be too stressed about the flight to start crying, but my money is on hormonal tears. So, if you could say some prayers for me that would be awesome.

Because of the traveling I’ll be doing and I’m unsure we’ll have internet in Florida I’ll be MIA until I arrive in the UK. Once I arrive in the UK I’ll be pretty MIA until the jet lag has subsided – so please don’t expect any responses or replies until mid-week.
