About a month ago I received an email that made my jaw fall to the floor.
Someone was inquiring on sponsoring The Momma Bird

wanted me to do a review post

I couldn’t believe it. I tried explaining to my family how huge this was…but well…they can’t fully understand since they aren’t in this whole “blogging” / “handmade” world. So, I tried to explain it to them in their language. They were happy for me, but not as excited as I knew another blogger would be if I told them.
So I told one of my sweet bloggy friends and she went CRAZY! She knew just how exciting this was and I was beaming from ear to ear. Anyway, the post title totally gives it away but I am so happy to introduce to you…

She started this jewelry journey in high school when she would just tinker around and then jumped right in after her 1st son was born so she’d be able to stay home with him. No training at all – just head first into it!

The beautiful necklace you see in these pictures is a piece that she sells in her shop. You can click on any of the images to take a look yourself. I am quite smitten with it if you can’t tell. I know I look a bit drowsy in the first one, but people, I was like 12 weeks pregnant so you’ll have to cut me some slack.
I love the pearl & aquamarine stone dangled along the rustic sterling silver piece. It’s simple and yet it also has that “beauty” factor as well. I typically where another handmade piece with my boys names on it, but this necklace has taken over my neck since I received it!
