I seriously do NOT even know what to say right now.
Apparently the Lord has been preparing us for this & I just didn’t “get” it.
This was taken just over a year ago….
Yeah. Funny huh.
In my 1st trimester & even on occasion now – I craved eggs.
This was taken while vacationing in Florida back in March
&
I’m pretty sure my MIL & I made some joke about me carrying twins.
Well, apparently the joke was on us because we are expecting
TWIN GIRLS!!!!
You know, I prayed for a girl. I didn’t want to tell anyone because I was afraid I would then be wrong or my prayer wouldn’t get answered. Silly now that I think about it because God truly knows the desires of your heart – He just always seems to answer them in ways we just can’t understand sometimes. And in our case – giving us 2 little girls instead of just 1.
So, I guess this means He thinks I can handle it. I’m still not so sure, but He thinks I can so I guess we’re just going to roll with it! Not much else to really do at this point – right?!!
Lots of you have asked LOADS of questions – I will get to those tomorrow.
If you have questions, feel free to leave them in the comments section & I will do my best to answer all of you!!
So many of you have expressed wanting to send clothes – I will add our address to my About Me page. Even though we are in England, our address is considered a US address so you can just mail through the Post Office

Oh my goodness, that is so exciting. Congratulations. Can’t even imagine what it must be like to discover at 22 weeks that you’re having twins, especially as they tend to come a bit early so it’s like your pregnancy just went on fast forward. So excited for you. How lovely. X

I got chills when I read this! Ah! My question was going to be whether you knew you were having twins, because I didn’t think I’d read anything about it on here. So crazy and fun!! Now you have me all nervous about my 20 week ultrasound that’s happening on Friday… Double congratulations!

i have a friend who just had twin baby boys a couple of weeks ago….and they were babies #3 and #4 for them. i have to say that they are very busy in their household…but VERY happy and blessed. congratulations on double the blessing!!!

Just stumbled across your blog from Multiples and More. The similarity of our stories is amazing. I also went for my anatomic scan (at 20 weeks) and discovered that I was having idenitical girls. Pretty sure if I had not already been laying down, I would have wound up on the floor. I felt as though I was witnessing a miracle and at the same time was completely terrified. I was put on bedrest at 22 weeks due to a UTI, but still managed to carry them until 38 weeks at which point I had a c-section. The first year of twins is pretty rough, mostly because of the sleep deprivation, but after that it is the best.
