total randomness

Ya’ll (and i can say that bc I lived in texas for 4 yrs, plus my boys were born there so they are *true* texans) my life has been composed of: eating, reading and blogging/designing. Seriously. Oh, and then throw in: taking care of my boys, cleaning house, organizing house & sleeping. Yeah. So if I’ve been a bit MIA, I’m growing 2 babies for goodness sakes, cut me some slack. This is said with all the love in the world – i promise.

These boys are something else I tell you. Cohen is talking SO much more & seriously making us laugh all the time. He is really starting to express his feelings more – which I think is such a cool new development. He is also very interested in the baby girls. If I come back from a doctor appointment he always asks if the babies have come out yet. lol. What a silly guy. He is such a great big helper too, always wanting to get things for me or Lucas and making sure that all is well in the home. My little peace keeper.

Lucas has been showing us his lovely “two’s” lately. Thank-The-Lord it’s not like Cohen’s two’s which lasted from about 15 months until 3 yrs. Earlier this week he got mad and showed us a textbook temper tantrum. I’m talkin’ – laying on the floor kicking his feet and banging his hands on the floor. It was pretty funny – but not – if you know what I’m sayin’. Luckily he is quick to apologize for any bad behavior and is always willing to say sorry with a hug & kiss.

I have my first appointment at the hospital in Cambridge today. I’m meeting with the midwife for my “booking” appointment. I’m assuming this will just be a lot of paperwork and information given/taken, but I thought I’d look cute since most days I spend in yoga pants & tshirt. Oh, and my hair, yeah – it only gets done on “special” days like today. You know, where I have to actually interact with the rest of the world.

Cohen wanted to join in on the fun. He’s really into taking pictures with me lately. He’s wearing a jumping beans shirt & children’s place jeans. Under those jeans he’s wearing adorable mickey mouse undies. When did he grow up?! I mean, seriously you guys, he’s half of my height!

I was introduced to indobay from Kristi of Barn Owl Primitives via Facebook. I know. I swear social media has been the greatest thing EVER for handmade businesses. Anyway, Kristi shared how she just LOVED the tea towel that Tania sold. I took one look and was hooked. (totally didn’t mean to rhyme on that one) I emailed Tania right away and told her how much I loved her stuff, and then about a week later, ordered my own!

Then, after stalking err updating myself on her Facebook page I saw that she does give aways on her “nonperfect” items and I entered RIGHT away. Wouldn’t you know a week later when her son picked the winner it was ME!!!!!! Ahh I yelled to my husband that I won and I’m sure he thought I was a loon, but then again, what else is new?? So yup. Once that bad boy gets to my house, that will make 2 tea towels from the lovely indobay.
