I don’t like writing post when I have nothing to say, and I feel like I’m at that place today – shoot since last Thursday! I’ve been so busy trying to get things in order that my brain feels fried. Here’s a little recap:

Friday: Midwife appointment in the morning for my glucose screening (and let me tell you – their drink is SO good compared to the States. Seriously, it’s like an orange sprite), head home, eat lunch, head out with the fam to pick up Cohen’s mattress, come home, take a short nap, put Cohen’s bed together (well, the hubs did, I just kept watch), put the boys together in the same room for bed, watched the Olympic Opening Ceremony.

Saturday: Drive up to Lakenheath (hour drive) pick up a car seat that we bought, drive to another base to pick up Lucas’ mattress, go to another base eat lunch, drive home, go through all the girl’s clothes & stuff to wash, do laundry, make dinner, bed.

Sunday: Grocery shopping, take apart Lucas’ toddler bed – convert to crib – move to guest room, put together Lucas’ new bed, rearrange the boys room until it’s just right, rearrange our room to fit the boy’s dresser in there sine it won’t fit in their room, laundry, nap, make dinner, bed.

Monday: Operation clean house, spend time with a dear friend & her kids, short nap, make a nice dinner for the fam & one of the hubs co-workers that’s visiting, get onto the boys multiple times about playing around in their room when they should be sleeping, write this post.

When I write it like that it doesn’t seem like a lot, but people, I’m carrying two babies in there – so that was a WHOLE lot of stuff to do. Tomorrow calls for some major rest time. I need to keep these girls put for at least another 3 weeks. Then, although I would prefer they don’t come then, I’ll just rest easy a bit more.
