How I’m Feeling/Updates:
And I’m still huge.
My appointment last week was great! The girls are both doing well and aren’t showing any signs of TTTS. Livia, Twin 1/Baby A (on my left side & closest to the cervix) weighs less than her sister @ 2lbs 3oz, but she’s a bit taller. Abigail, Twin 2/Baby B (on my right side & higher up) weighs a bit more @ 2lbs 6oz, but is just a little shorter than Livia.
We finally have the boys moved into one room. We thought we’d have to wait about 6 wks for their mattresses to come in (the joys of living overseas where bed sizes are different than in the US) but they came in just a week later! They don’t fall asleep until 9/930, so they are a bit tired during the day, but I’m hoping a better bedtime routine will help get their butts in gear. Stinkers.
The girls rooms are coming along. I don’t have their bedding yet, it’s on it’s way eventually. I have all the clothes we’ve been given / bought washed and put away. Really, I’m just waiting on the “little” pieces – fabric for the bunting, yarn for the pom-pom garland, prints from etsy shops ect to come in the mail or for me to buy! lol I guess I should do it sooner rather than later.
I have realized I think I have restless leg syndrome. It doesn’t happen every night, but most nights right after I lay down it happens…my legs start aching or feeling like there are ants crawling all over them on the inside. Stretching doesn’t do ANYTHING to help, tylenol doesn’t help, the only way I get any relief is when my body gives in and just lets me fall asleep. Ugh. It’s awful. I think I may have had this a few times with the boys but NOTHING like now. Grr.
Overall I’m alright. I mean, I’m not on bed rest and I’m 29 weeks so that’s a huge encouragement. I had some energy the other day so I did some GOOD cleaning around the house. It had been a while since I had dusted / cleaned the windows. (cleaning windows is one of my FAVORITE chores). By the time the afternoon has rolled around though I’m just done. I’m usually dragging while making dinner, sometimes I try to make it earlier in the day so it’s just ready to go for me after my nap….but that doesn’t always happen.
Then, after dinner, I’m seriously done. I usually end up laying on the couch – on my left side – and watch the boys play with the hubs until bed time.
Baby Movement:
Still active
Since they keep getting bigger (yeah!) when they move about it literally takes my breath away bc there’s just not much room in there. Jesse has been feeling them go crazy lately. He is always pretty shocked at how much they move about.

Weight Gain:
I started at 127 before I got pregnant – but was trying to get down to 125. So I consider my “goal” weight to be my “start” weight so that I can judge what I’m gaining based off of where I want to be afterwards.
8 week appointment: 129 lbs
17 week appointment: 134 lbs
18 weeks: 135.6 lbs
19 weeks: 136.2 lbs
20 weeks: 137.4 lbs
21 weeks: 137.8 lbs
22 weeks: 139.2 lbs
23 weeks: 141.1 lbs
24 weeks: 144.0 lbs
25 weeks: 145.8 lbs
26 weeks: 147.4 lbs
27 weeks: 149.5 lbs
28 weeks: 152.0 lbs
29 weeks: 154.0 I gained 2 lbs this week
Total: 27 lbs
Well, looks like I’m gaining about 2lbs a week now. Geez. I guess that puts me right on target for my weight gain though. I’m supposed to gain about 35-45lbs and if I continue at this rate, at 36wks I’ll be up to 164lbs making a total weight gain of 41lbs. Although I’m not a fan of weighing that much in the end, I have to remember it’s the best for the babies and after I had Cohen I was at 160lbs – and he was only 1 baby!!!

Cravings:
Snickers.

Gender:
2 sweet, bouncy girls!

I’m nearly 8 weeks with my 3rd baby (hopefully there is only one in there
) I have restless leg so terribly bad because I also had it prior to pregnancy, and the only thing that helps is a warm bath. Not sure if you guys have a tub you can soak in, but I definitely recommend it.
I think you look great! When I was pregnant with my son I started off at 110 and weighed 165 when I gave birth to him. Then I sat at 145 until I got pregnant this time…lost a few pounds and now am a little more than when I had him. :S I definitely don’t like it because I was never used to that much weight, but the doctor says I’m doing okay… and hopefully I can work harder this time to get it off! So hard!

i’m sorry about the restless leg syndrome!
sounds horrible. I still get leg cramps every now and then but not every night. You still look absolutely fabulous!

I feel like I’m having restless arm syndrome. I think it’s a mix of carpal tunnel and an old shoulder injury that’s making bedtime a pain (literally) every night. I can definitely tell the twins are already starting to drop a bit. Your belly is definitely lower this week than last. But, you look great! Hang in there mama! Not too much longer!

I know some who had restless leg syndrome and she swore by Witch Hazel. She would wipe down her legs with at night before she went to lay down. Figured i would pass on the info in case it works.
Love the pictures!!!!
Glad to hear you and the babies are good.

I had restless leg syndrome with my little girl, and it was miserable! So hard to sleep! My husband likes to laugh about it, but it’s a very real condition!! Since having her, I noticed some kind of medicine at the pharmacy for RLS…don’t know how it works or if it’s safe during pregnancy, but might be worth checking out! Hope you get some sleep!
