How I’m Feeling/Updates:
33 weeks and counting! My next goal is to get to 34 weeks! One week at a time I tell myself, it’s the best way to keep me focused.
I have my good days and bad days still. Most days I’m on the couch but try to get house work done in the morning. And by house work I mean the kitchen & vacuuming…..everything else is done only when needed. Dusting – yeah it has been almost 2 weeks since that’s been done.
I made a mobile for Abigail’s room, I’ll be sure to post up a tutorial – SO EASY! (both girls will be in Abi’s room until they start moving around too much, then Liv will get moved into her room/guest room) I also printed off some graphics I made with their names as well as framed some prints I ordered from Livy Love Designs. I still need to get a few more frames, but I’m afraid that I won’t find the colors I want – we shall see, and need to find them SOON!
My RLS (restless leg syndrome) is only around on occasion now. I have been able to sleep in our own bed the last 2 wks except for last night. I have found if I stretch before bed it helps, which is weird bc it NEVER helped before when I’d get it. Maybe my body is focusing more on the fact my belly is MASSIVE than my poor legs. ha ha
Braxton Hicks are making their appearance multiple times a day. I find if I have “over done it” aka – doing the laundry & then vacuuming right after the other – I’ll get some. They’ll usually calm down if I chug some water and lay on my left side. But whew – they are ROUGH with two of them in there!
APPOINTMENT UPDATE: I had my appointment last Wednesday. Both girls are still growing but Livia’s growth slowed down a ton. She’s no only in the 5% while Abigail is in the 44%. Just 2 wks prior they were in the 12% and 34%. As you see Livia’s % has declined while Abi’s has increased. They didn’t seem concerned bc Liv is still growing on her “line” and has plenty of fluid surrounding her. I went into major Momma Bear mode & called to discuss all details – so hopefully we see some better results next week at our appt.
I was right last when I said I thought the girls had changed positions last week. When I went for my scan Abigail turned breech. Little stinker. Luckily it’s not that big of a deal bc she’s baby B which means she will be born 2nd.
As far as their movements, it’s getting kinda crazy looking since they’re so much bigger – whenever they move – you can see it from the outside. Still so weird looking! Especially when it’s on all sides of my tummy!
I started at 127 before I got pregnant – but was trying to get down to 125. So I consider my “goal” weight to be my “start” weight so that I can judge what I’m gaining based off of where I want to be afterwards.

For the last couple weeks I had gained almost 3lbs per week, this week was just about 1.5lbs so that’s not too bad. I’m just glad I finally hit the 35lb mark! Only a few more weeks left so I should be right on target for how much weight I was supposed to gain. Yeah!
I really had a craving for a steak this past week. I went and bought two of them – and didn’t share one bit with anyone else! So yummy! I also had a craving for the spinach & artichoke dip I make but didn’t have the ingredients so I had to suffer. Poor me.
2 sweet, bouncy girls!
Don’t forget about the give away going on until Sept 2nd @ midnight!
