Easy Paper Mobile

Well, a few weeks ago I got all crafty when a friend picked up Cohen & I was just left with Lucas……

Man life was a breeze with just one kid! Whew!

Anyway, I had been ‘eye-ing’ some adorable paper bird mobiles for the girls on pinterest / etsy and decided I had some scrapbook paper to use & some money to save! Pretty much I’m happy with my little project – despite not having a picture of it hanging up yet. I only ended up making one for Abi’s room, Livia’s room just doesn’t “need” it.

So, I made up a little tutorial for ya if you’d like to make your own! It’s so easy & doesn’t take very long to do at all!

{be sure to place your image at the fold at the bottom}

{you could also opt to just tape the thread / fishing line / twine / string from the top part of the bird}
{i did it this way so the string couldn’t get pulled out from the tape}

From here you just measure out the lengths you want for your string & tie it onto your branch.

And that’s it! I know this isn’t the best picture in the world, but I don’t have one of it hanging yet.

Update on the girls:
My appointment went GREAT! Livia is measuring around 4lbs 4oz & Abigail is measuring about 4lbs 12oz. We even got to see sweet Liv’s face in 3D!!!! I’ve NEVER seen that before with any of our kiddos, so when she changed the screen over my mouth just dropped! She was so cute! She really resembles her big brother Cohen when he was a baby. She even stuck her tongue out for us a few times. Adorable I tell you & so surreal. The only downside is that I completely forgot to ask for a picture! Ugh – oh well. We didn’t end up seeing Abi’s face bc she was facing my back, stinker – but since they’re identical I guess we already know what she looks like too!

Our induction date is set for September 24th! So long as they don’t arrive before then. So, that gives us 18 days people!!! Wow-zah! It’s going to be here SO soon!
