Oh goodness. I have been a bad blogger but thank the Lord I have 2 cute little excuses so you all don’t hate me.
I have had my post delivery post up in my browser since my last post. Seriously. I have sat down to write it, oh, probably about 10 times and have yet to finish. I just didn’t really feel like writing it all down – or rather – I’ve just been too tired and have had better things to do than relive some of it. ha ha. Anyway, life has been pretty good lately! Aside from many sleepless nights – goodness me, sometimes I think the girls are out to get me some days….but seriously….I think they plan this stuff.

But, I’m still trucking on and I have officially survived my 1st day home with all 4 kids!! My boys were amazing and didn’t wake up until about 6:40am, they crawled into bed with me for some snuggles before we all officially woke up for the day. The girls were fantastic, only waking up at 3am for a feeding (well, they did let me know that they were VERY hungry by screaming for quite a bit – but that’s ok) after going to bed at 11pm and then me waking them up at 7am, so I’ll call that a success. Once downstairs I had to get creative on what to get the boys to eat while their oatmeal cooled off so they could eat on their own while I nursed the girls. (side note: are my kids the only children that FREAK OUT over warm food?! My kids eat everything luke warm/cold. If it’s in the least bit on the ‘more warm’ side they’ll go ON AND ON about how it’s “hot”. Irritating) I got them some yogurt to tie them over until I was done and their oatmeal was nice and cold – weirdos.

After feeding time for all kiddos we had some boys & momma time playing with puppets, cars & trains. Yeah, we’re cool around these parts. The girls snoozed away on the couch. Then after playtime I went to town on the house. I got laundry done, cleaned the downstairs, changed the sheets in our room & even got laundry folded & put away! I’m pretty much amazing in case you were wondering. After house cleaning we all had some lunch, the girls got fed again and then some more play time with the boys.

1pm finally rolled around & all the kids were sleeping. I, on the other hand, was not since I have a doctors appointment to attend here in about 30 minutes. I’m getting a sketchy beauty mark checked out. Anyway, that’s my day. I survived 4 kids under 4 all by myself.
Captain Awesome-Mom is my new name.

Tune in next week because I may have a horror story of a day tomorrow. ha ha. We’ll see!

This is really awesome, and I am totally jealous of two things…
1. Your girls seem to be sleeping fairly decent at night.. Olivia has me up every 2 hours around the clock.
2. That your kids don’t destroy the house while you are nursing! The moment my daughter sees that I am tied up with nursing she gets into everything she isn’t supposed too! She did this when I had her brother too. Maybe it is a girl thing, because my son on the other hand usually behaves…
So glad to hear your first day went so well

I just have to say….good for you for going to the Dr. for your beauty mark! I find that with four kids, it’s just not worth it to book the appointment, pack everyone up and go. That being said, my husband made me go in August and I am glad I went because it turned out to be something, so it is important to make that time for our own health

Good luck!

My kids complain about everything being “hot” too!! I can make anything and if my son doesn’t see me stick it in the freezer to cool, it’s too hot lol. So annoying!
Your kids are adorable, and You are officially super mom!
Such cuties, and love how well you’re coping – good for you, Super-Momma! Oh, and for a while now I’ve been wondering if I accidentally served our Dot some scalding hot food and she burned the roof of her mouth or something, because she won’t eat ANYTHING unless it’s luke-warm/cold – so thank goodness I can stop blaming myself! Incredibly annoying when dinner is running a few minutes late and she’s then got to wait for it to cool down (if I give it to her too warm, she’ll touch it with her finger and then push the entire plate away – and refuse to eat ANY of it – even when it IS cold!!)! x

Hi there! I just found your blog after googling ttts. I can’t wait to get a minute and sit down to read it all! I am expecting identical twin girls somewhere between February and April ( you understand, I’m sure). Seeing that you can survive with 2 little ones at home gives me hope that I can survive with my 3 at home. Thanks for the inspiration! Your children are beautiful!
