There are various reasons to choose Blogger or WordPress. When I first started blogging, I chose Blogger because it was easy for me to use, simple, and well – EASY! Once I really got serious about my blogging I decided I wanted to make the switch to WordPress. I could always tell a ‘wordpress’ blog and absolutely loved how clean and professional they looked.
Since my switch to WordPress the only time I had any doubt was in the beginning. I wasn’t sure what to do about uploading photos, how to utilize the post navigation bar, and that whole sidebar with all those different options scared me! I’ll be the first to admit that I even went as far as typing up my post & uploading my pictures in my old blogger account and then just transferring the html coding over to blogger. Baaaad Michelle. Turns out there are lots of resources to use to help you!
Switching to WordPress was the best decision for me & my blog. If I hadn’t ever switched, I wouldn’t be designing blogs today! I have linked a few different posts that touch on the various differences between the two so that you can make an informed decision for yourself.
